Diary of a Mad Housewife is a 1970 American comedy drama movie directed by Frank Perry and based on the 1967 novel of the same name by Sue Kaufman. It stars Carrie Snodgress, Richard Benjamin, Frank Langella, Peter Boyle and Alice Cooper and was distributed by Universal Pictures. It was nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards in 1971. Diary of a Mad Housewife was released on August 10, 1970.[1]
