Richard Alan Zimmer (born August 16, 1944) is an American Republican Party politician and lawyer. He was a member of the United States House of Representatives for New Jersey's 12th congressional district from 1991 until 1997. He was the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senatein 1996 and 2008.[1]
