Did You Hear About the Morgans? is a 2009 American romantic comedy thriller movie directed and written by Marc Lawrence. The movie stars Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker as Paul and Meryl Morgan, a separated power couple from New York City. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they witness a murder involving one of Meryl's clients. To ensure their safety, they are placed in witness protection, given new identities, and relocated to a small town in Wyoming. The supporting cast includes Sam Elliott, Mary Steenburgen, Elisabeth Moss, and Wilford Brimley. It is the second collaboration between Grant and Parker, following the 1996 movie Extreme Measures.
The movie premiered in December 2009 and received negative reviews from critics. Despite the critical reception, it had a successful box office run, grossing $85 million worldwide.
