Diego Uribe Vargas

Diego Uribe Vargas (1 November 1931 – 12 August 2022) was a Colombian politician, lawyer and academic. He was a member of the Colombian Liberal Party. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1978 to 1981. From 1974 to 1990, he was a Senator. He was also the Governor of Cundinamarca from 1970 to 1972. From 1972 to 1974, he was a member of the Chamber of Representatives.

Uribe Vargas was born in Bogotá, Colombia. Before his death, he was a professor at the National University of Colombia.

Uribe Vargas died in Bogotá on 12 August 2022 at the age of 90.[1]
