Disney Princess is a media franchise and toy line by Disney. It features female characters of Disney productions like Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel and other princesses. It was created in the early 2000s to group several female characters from different animated films into one brand for merchandise and promotion.[1] The line was used to connect all the characters together and take advantage of their popularity and build a connected princess brand.[2]
