Donald Thomas Valentine (June 26, 1932 – October 25, 2019) was an American venture capitalist. His companies focused on technology companies in the United States.[1] He was called the "grandfather of Silicon Valley venture capital".[2][3]

Valentine died on October 25, 2019 in Woodside, California at the age of 87.[4]
