Dovhe Pole
Dovhe Pole (Ukrainian: Довге Поле; Hungarian: Unghosszúmező)[1] is a village in the Uzhhorodskyi Raion in the Zakarpattia Oblast in western Ukraine. Dovhe Pole is located 7 km southeast of Uzhhorod.
History
[change | change source]The village was settled at the beginning of the 14th century. Its first written mention dates back to 1351 under the name Hosszúmező. Its first inhabitants were Hungarians.
