Dubai Silicon Oasis
Appearance
Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) is a free-trade area in Dubai, created by the government in 2003. It covers 7.2 square kilometers in the Nadd Hessa area.
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced Dubai Silicon Oasis in 2003.[1] In 2005, it became an independent authority with control over 7.2 million square meters of land.[2]
Dubai Silicon Oasis is regulated by the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), which oversees the free zone's business operations, licensing framework, and infrastructure development. DSO is positioned near key business hubs, including Dubai International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, and Port Rashid, making it a well-connected zone for trade and logistics.[3]
