Richard Duke Buchan III (born July 3, 1963)[1] is an American entrepreneur, financier, farmer, and philanthropist. He is the founder and CEO of Hunter Global Investors,[2] a private investment management firm.[3]

Buchan has been nominated by President Donald Trump to become United States Ambassador to Spain and Andorra.[4] This nomination was confirmed by the United States Senate on November 2, 2017.
