Duracell is a brand of batteries made by Procter and Gamble. Duracell makes alkaline batteries of 9V, C, AA, AAA, and D sizes.[1]

In 2014, Berkshire Hathaway bought the Duracell.[2]

The company was founded in the 1920s by Samuel Ruben and Philip Rogers Mallory.[3]

The Duracell became a brand appeared in 1964.
