Echocardiography or Echocardiyogram is an ultrasound to view and hear the heart. Echocardiography is able to view two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and Doppler ultrasound to create images and sounds of the heart.

The echocardiography machine's are mainly used in hospitals.

Echocardiography dates back to the 1950s and was invented by Carl Helmuth Hertz and Inge Edler.
