Elias Theodorou

Elias Michael Theodorou[1] (May 31, 1988 – September 11, 2022) was a Canadian mixed martial artist. He competed for the UFC in the Middleweight division. He won The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia. He was born in Mississauga, Canada.

He became the first professional athlete to be exempt for cannabis use in North America in January 2020.[2]

Theodorou died on September 11, 2022 from liver cancer at the age of 34.[3][4]
