Emile Hemmen

Emile Hemmen (6 December 1923[1] – 8 January 2021) was a Luxembourgian lyric poet and writer. Hemmen was born in Sandweiler, Luxembourg. From 1945 to 1958 he worked as a teacher. Then he studied in Paris, specializing in psychology and sociology. He worked as an attaché for the Luxembourg Ministry of Education from 1968 to 1969. He founded Éditions Estuaires.

Hemmen died on 8 January 2021 at the age of 97.[2]
