Erich von Däniken
Erich von Däniken (14 April 1935 – 10 January 2026) was a Swiss author. Today, most people know him for his pseudoscientific theories. His theory is called ancient astronauts in English. It says that extraterrestrials made contact with what is known as Ancient civilisations. These extraterrestrials also passed on some knowledge. As an author he was quite successful. His books were translated into many languages. Some were used to make movies.
He died on 10 January 2025 at a hospital in Unterseen, Switzerland at the age of 90.[1]
