Evan Goldberg (born May 11, 1982) is a Canadian screenwriter, movie producer and director. He has worked with his childhood friend Seth Rogen on many movies, including Knocked Up and Superbad (both 2007), Pineapple Express (2008), This Is the End (2013), Neighbors and The Interview (both 2014), Sausage Party and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (both 2016). Goldberg and Rogen developed the AMC series Preacher (2016–present). He has also written for television shows such as Da Ali G Show and The Simpsons.

Goldberg was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He grew up in Marpole. He is Jewish. He is married to Lisa Yadavaia.[1]
