Family Jr. is a Canadian television channel for children. It is a part of the specialty channel Family Channel. The channet is aimed at viewers between the ages of 2 and 7 years old.

The channel started on November 30, 2007. It was a Canadian version of Playhouse Disney, under license from Disney Channels Worldwide It changed to Disney Junior in 2011. Astral Media was bought by Bell Media. This caused Family Channel and Disney Junior to be a part of DHX Media (now WildBrain) in 2014.

In 2015, DHX lost its rights to Disney programming. The name of DHX's Disney Junior channel was changed to Family Jr in September 2015. It was a brand extension of Family Channel.
