Fargo (season 3)
The third season of Fargo, an American anthology dark comedy–crime drama television series created by Noah Hawley. It premiered on April 19, 2017, on FX.[1][2] The season had ten episodes. The season ended on June 21, 2017.[3]

The third season is set between 2010 and 2011[4] in three Minnesota towns: St. Cloud, Eden Valley, and Eden Prairie.
It is the first season not to include Fargo, North Dakota. It is about couple, Ray Stussy (Ewan McGregor) and Nikki Swango (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), who, after unsuccessfully trying to rob Ray's brother Emmit (also played by McGregor), become involved in a double murder case.
One of the victims is an old man with a mysterious past whose stepdaughter, Gloria Burgle (Carrie Coon), is a policewoman. This happens when Emmit tries to separate from a criminal organization he borrowed money from a year before owned by V. M. Varga (David Thewlis) wants to stop him.[5][6]

The third season had strong positive reviews[7] On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a 93% approval with many liking McGregor's performance.[8]
