Fernando Atzori

Fernando Atzori (1 June 1942 – 9 November 2020)[1] was an Italian flyweight boxer. He won a gold medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics.

After the Olympics, he turned professional and won the European title in 1967. Atzori had the title nine times before losing it in 1972. He then had it again and lost again in 1973. Atzori retired from the ring in 1975.[2]
