Русский: Театр ведёт свою историю с 60-х годов XIX столетия, когда при Общественном собрании из «господ–любителей» был образован музыкально–драматический кружок, объединивший представителей интеллигенции, купечества, дворянства. Основу репертуара составили водевили, шутки и комедии, популярные не только в провинции, но и в столичных театрах. Среди постановок были такие пьесы, как «Ревизор» Н. В. Гоголя, «Женитьба Бальзаминова», «Лес», «Волки и овцы», «Не в свои сани не садись» А. Н. Островского, «Злоумышленники» А. П. Чехова.
