Summary

Description A U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Douglas A-4F Skyhawk (BuNo 154992) from Marine Attack Squadron VMA-134 at the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, California (USA), air show, in 1982.
This aircraft later served with the Blue Angels aerobatics team as aircraft No.6. It collided with A‑4F 155029 (No.5) on the top of a loop during a display at Niagara Falls airport, New York (USA), on 13 July 1985. The pilot of 155029 ejected safely, but the pilot of 154992, LCdr. Mike Gershon, was killed.
