Description
English: Blazon:„Per bend sinster Argent, displaced ahead, left 15 abies, party per pale vert and sable in three bends.“
The arms were officially granted on October 16, 1990. The arms show a number of abies 'in the shadow', which is a canting composition, the name means "shadow-forest".
Deutsch: Blasonierung:„Schräglinksgeteilt, nach vorn verschoben in Silber (Weiß); links der Teilungslinie in drei Reihen 15, gespaltene Tannen in Grün und Schwarz.“
Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde von der Tiroler Landesregierung am 16. Oktober 1990 verliehen. Das Wappen ist "redend"; es zeigt einen "schattigen Wald" oder "Tannen im Schatten".
