Sources

This image is based on/inspired by elements of several real crop circles, including the Firefox crop circle and the Beckhampton Pentagram formation (see also this), which was created in a field in August 2002, in Beckhampton, Wiltshire, England.

Without these two circles, this barnstar would have looked somewhat different (it was almost a black triangle UFO).

Of course, other barnstars were also sources of inspiration.
