Object history
Deutsch: Das Gemeindewappen sollte möglichst alle Teilorte repräsentieren. Nachdem im Laufe der Jahrhunderte die Herren von Stein zu Klingenstein (Wolfsangeln) und auch die Herren von Herrlingen-Hörningen (stehende Hift- oder Jagdhörner) in allen Teilorten zeitweise entweder die Ortsherrschaft oder Grundbesitz hatten, ist in einer Kombination aus den genannten Symbolen die historische Repräsentanz aller Teilorte am besten gewährleistet.
