Deutsch: „Auf silbernem (weißem) Grund drei rote Kleeblätter im Verhältnis 2:1.“ Der Gemeinde ist mit Urkunde des Oberpräsidenten der Provinz Westfalen in Münster vom 26. Oktober 1938 das Recht zur Führung eines Wappens und eine Siegels verliehen worden. Das Wappen basiert auf dem Siegel der ausgestorbenen Familie von Mettingen. Die Farben Rot-Silber entsprechen dem Tecklenburger Grafschaftswappen.
English: „Argent, three trifoils gules in ratio 2:1.“ The arms were granted on October 26, 1938. The arms based on the seal of the extinct family of Mettingen. The colours derived from the arms of the county of Tecklenburg.
