Object history
Deutsch: Der Pflaumenbaum ist redendes Bild für den Ortsnamen Pframmern, das vom lateinischen pruna (Pflaume) und dem althochdeutschen Lehnwort phrûma hergeleitet ist. Mit der Schenkung einer Kirche im Ort Phrumari an die Freisinger Domkirche im Jahr 806 ist Oberpframmern schon sehr früh urkundlich belegt. Namengebend war wohl ein Pflaumenzüchter. Das Andreaskreuz symbolisiert das Kirchenpatrozinium von Oberpframmern.
