Object history
Deutsch: Das Gemeindewappen entspricht dem redenden Familienwappen der adeligen und seit 1721 freiherrlichen Familie Limpöck, die dem Straubinger Bürgertum entstammte und sich als Inhaber der Hofmark Riekofen seit 1635 nach ihrem Sitz auf Schloss Riekofen nannte. Das Schloss wurde 1870 abgebrochen.
