Object history
Deutsch: Die gekreuzten Schlüssel versinnbildlichen als Attribut des heiligen Petrus das Kirchenpatrozinium der Pfarrkirche Rieden und verweisen zugleich auf die Peter-und-Paulkirche von Soyen. Der silberne Schrägbalken im roten Feld entspricht dem Wappen des Hochstifts Regensburg und erinnert an die Zugehörigkeit des früheren Amtes Hohenburg am Inn zur Bischofskirche von Regensburg. Seit dem Zusammenschluss der Gemeinden Soyen und Schlicht und Teilen von Allmannsau und Schleefeld im Jahr 1971 deckt sich das heutige Gemeindegebiet wieder mit dem weitgehend geschlossenen Grundherrschaftsbezirk, der vom 13. Jahrhundert bis zur Säkularisation 1803 dem Regensburger Kastenamt Hohenburg zugeordnet war.
