Object history
Deutsch: Aus dem 17. Jahrhundert ist ein Dorfgerichtssiegel überliefert. Es zeigt den Kirchenpatron, den heiligen Johannes, mit dem Kreuzstab sowie ein kleines Wappenschild mit den drei Spitzen. Diese Bilder bilden die Grundlage für das Gemeindewappen. Stellvertretend für den Heiligen steht der Kreuzstab im Schild. Die Pflugschar stellt den landwirtschaftlichen Charakter der Gemeinde dar. Die Farben Silber und Rot sind die Farben des Hochstifts Würzburg sowie Frankens. Das Domkapitel sowie das Hochstift Würzburg sind seit dem Hochmittelalter in Theilheim belegt.
