Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Vaterstetten hieß bis 1978 Parsdorf. Das grüne Seeblatt stammt aus dem Wappen der Benediktinerabtei Tegernsee und verweist auf die schon im 12. Jahrhundert belegte Zugehörigkeit der Kirche Vaterstetten. Der Pfahl symbolisiert die Altstraßen, an denen der Gemeindeteil Neufarn liegt. Der Ortsname ist als Straßenkreuzung zu deuten.
