Object history Der Schrägwellenbalken und das Eichenblatt stellen die geografische Lage der Gemeinde an der Aschaff und im waldreichen Spessart dar. Sie stehen zugleich redend für den Ortsnamen. Das silberne sechsspeichige Rad erinnert an die einstige Zugehörigkeit zum Erzstift und Kurstaat Mainz. Das Zahnrad weist als Industriesymbol auf die jüngste Entwicklung der Gemeinde zu einem bedeutenden Industriestandort hin.
