Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen leitet sich von einem Privileg des Markgrafen Friedrich von Brandenburg-Ansbach aus dem Jahr 1548 ab. Der Brunnen auf der Wiese steht redend für den Ortsnamen. Die Farben Silber und Schwarz sind die Farben der Markgrafen und weisen auf deren Herrschaft hin. Im Urbar der Burggrafen von Nürnberg, der späteren Markgrafen, aus der Zeit um 1360 wird Wiesenbronn als burggräflicher Besitz genannt. 1534 gehört fast die Hälfte von Wiesenbronn zur markgräflichen Herrschaft. Das Wappen geriet für fast 150 Jahre in Vergessenheit und wurde 1961 wieder angenommen.
