DescriptionFish salting trough, Old Town harbour, St. Mary's - geograph.org.uk - 936010.jpg
English: Fish salting trough, Old Town harbour, St. Mary's The old amongst the new. Once the most important harbour on the island, later a busy fishing port, hence the stone salting trough for the preservation of the food. Now as can be seen a place for leisure with kayaks, dinghies and small boats lined up. The white building is the superb Old Town Cafe.
