Summary

Description
English: Marrella splendens from the Middle Cambrian Burgess Shale in the collections of the Sedgwick Museum, Cambridge. The characteristic dark stain so often associated with this genus can be seen at the rear and front-left of the organism. An aluminosilicate vein transects the slab at the anterior of the fossil.
