Patio de los Arrayanes

Español: Este patio era utilizado por embajadores e invitados distinguidos y formaba parte del complejo palaciego más antiguo. Las habitaciones se abrían al patio, que estaba rodeado de una arcada con columnas de mármol. Tiene una alberca, en el medio, flanqueada por filas de macizos de mirto a ambos lados. En el extremo norte está la amplia y cuadrada sala del trono: El Salón de los Embajadores. El techo es abovedado y tiene mocárabes es decir, trabajado en forma de panal, que en España se pintaban en una amplia gama de colores o solo en dorado.
