English: FDNY - Ladder 4 (Truck 4), made by by Ferrara Fire Apparatus.
Deutsch: Ladder (Truck) 4 ist ein von Ferrara gebautes Leiterfahrzeug des Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY).

Stationiert ist das Fahrzeug bei Battalion 9 an der Kreuzung 8th Avenue und West 49th Street. In der Nähe von Broadway / Time Square. Eines der Vorvorgänger-Fahrzeuge wurde bei den Terror-Anschlägen vom 11.09.2001 zerstört und die Mannschaft getötet.

Wie auf vielen New Yorker Feuerwehrfahrzeugen steht auch auf diesem Fahrzeug ein Motto: Ladder (Truck) 4 - "Pride of Midtown"

Die Ladder Company sind zuständig für Menschenrettung, Lokalisation und Freilegung des Feuers, grundlegende technische Hilfe und patientengerechte Rettung bei Verkehrsunfällen.

Besatzung: 

   Chauffeur (vgl. Maschinist)
   Lieutenant (Teil des Forcible Entry Teams zur Lokalisierung/Freilegung des Feuers und Menschenrettung, trägt Eindringwerkzeuge wie z.B. Trennschleifer, Hydra-Ram oder Halligan-Tool)
   Iron (Teil des Forcible Entry Teams zur Lokalisierung/Freilegung des Feuers und Menschenrettung, trägte Eindringwerkzeuge und die Einreißhaken [daher Iron])
   Can (Teil des Forcible Entry Teams zur Lokalisierung/Freilegung des Feuers und Menschenrettung, trägt Eindringwerkzeuge und einen Wasserlöscher [daher Can])
   Roof Vent (Zuständig für die Aufnahme des Daches zur Belüftung)
   Outside Vent (Zuständig für die Öffnung von Belüftungsöffnungen am Gebäude)
