English: The northwestern end of Starbuck Island, Line Islands, Kiribati. Original description: The northwestern end of Starbuck island seen from the sea shows the remains of buildings from the last time it was populated by people. During the guano era, dozens of people lived here, mining "Coral Queen Guano", the highest quality in the Pacific.
