Object history
Deutsch: Die sog. Uttenschwalbe, ein schwarzer Vogel in Gestalt eines Schwans, Storches oder Kormorans, der auch als Waldrapp, eine in Mitteleuropa ausgestorbene Ibisart gedeutet wird, ist das Wappentier der Freiherren von Closen, die vom 16. bis zum 18. Jahrhundert als Inhaber der Herrschaft Haidenburg bedeutende Grund- und Niedergerichtsherren im Gemeindegebiet von Beutelsbach waren. Der in Form von Spitzen geteilte (gezwickelte) Sparren in Silber und Rot ist das Abteiwappen des Zisterzienserklosters Fürstenzell, das die kirchliche Entwicklung im Gemeindegebiet prägte und dem die Pfarrei Beutelsbach seit 1447 inkorporiert war.
