Object history Der Turm der St.-Michaelskirche ist das Wahrzeichen von Hösbach und steht daher im Gemeindewappen. Der Sporn weist darauf hin, dass Hösbach Sitz des kurmainzischen Forstbeamten war. Das Eichenblatt mit der Eichel stellt die geografische Lage der Gemeinde im Spessart dar. Die Farben Silber und Rot sind die Farben des Erzstifts Mainz und erinnern an dessen Landesherrschaft. Seit 1989 ist Hösbach Markt.
