Object history

Deutsch: Der rote Balken symbolisiert die Herren von Hellenstein, die bis in das 15. Jahrhundert im Kreisgebiet herrschten, der Zinnenturm versinnbildlicht die zahlreichen Burgen und Schlösser der anderen Herrschaften im Kreisgebiet, die Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts ebenfalls an Württemberg kamen. Das Wappen wurde am 12. September 1955 verliehen.
