Fiorenza Bassoli (9 August 1948 – 5 July 2020) was an Italian politician. Bassoli was born in Reggiolo, Italy.
Bassoli began her political career as a member of the Italian Communist Party. She later became a member of the Democratic Party of the Left, Democrats of the Left and the Democratic Party.[1][2]
She was a member of the council of Sesto San Giovanni. She later was the first woman mayor of the comune from 1985 to 1994.[3][2] She later a Senator from 2006 to 2013.[4]
