The Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (Persian: فدراسیون فوتبال جمهوری اسلامی ایران, romanized: Federâsion-è Futbâl-è Jomhuri-ye Eslâmi-ye Irân; FFIRI) is the governing body of football in Iran. It is in charge of the men's and the women's national teams. The association was founded in 1920. It became a member of FIFA in 1948 and AFC in 1958.
