Forest Able

Forest Edward Able (July 27, 1932 – January 4, 2026), nicknamed Frosty, was an American professional basketball player.[1] He was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a 6-foot-3-inch (1.91 m) basketball guard. He played for the Syracuse Nationals from 1956 to 1957. However, he was fired from the team for being very "nervous".[2] Afterwards, he became a high school basketball coach.[3]

Able died at his home in Louisville on January 4, 2026 at the age of 93.[4]
