Frank Cameron
Francis James Cameron (1 June 1932 – 2 January 2023) was a New Zealand cricketer who was born in Dunedin. He was a right arm medium pace bowler and a right-handed batter.[1]
Cameron played in a total of 119 first-class matches from 1953 to 1967, representing Otago in the Plunket Shield. In international cricket, he played for New Zealand in 19 Test matches from 1961 to 1965, and took a total of 62 wickets.[1]
From 1968 to 1986, Cameron was a member of New Zealand's Test selection panel. Following his retirement, he was awarded an MBE in the 1987 New Year Honours list for his services to cricket.[1]
Frank Cameron died in Christchurch, aged 90.[1]
