Frank Castle (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
Francis David "Frank" Castle Sr., also known as the Punisher, is a vigilante character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, he is played by Jon Bernthal and the character appears in the Marvel Netflix series Marvel's The Punisher. He is portrayed as a former Marine who becomes a relentless antihero after the tragic death of his family, which drives him to fight crime through lethal means. In the MCU, he is depicted as a gritty, no-nonsense vigilante with extensive combat skills, a strong sense of justice, and a signature skull emblem on his chest.
