Frank Pemberton

Frank Pemberton (14 September 1914 - 26 March 1971) was an English actor who played until the character of was axed as Frank Barlow from the first episode of the longest running television soap opera Coronation Street from 1967 to 1961.

He was born in Stretford, Lancashire and died his home in Copthorne, Sussex.

He was actually known for his role as Frank Barlow in the British new series Coronation Street: First Dry Run and the 1959 British film In the Wake of a Stranger.

He married to Sheila Cook and Jean Marlow.
