Friday Night Lights (movie)

Friday Night Lights is a 2004 American sports drama movie co-written and directed by Peter Berg. The movie is about the coach and players of a high school football team in Odessa, Texas. The movie is based on the book Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream (1990) by H. G. Bissinger.

The movie stars Billy Bob Thornton as Coach Gary Gaines. Tim McGraw and Amber Heard also star in this movie.

A television series of the same name came out on October 3, 2006 on NBC. It is seen as one of the best high school movies ever made.[1][2]
