From the World of John Wick: Ballerina (or just Ballerina) is an upcoming American neo-noir action thriller movie. It is expected to be released on June 6, 2025.[1] It was directed by Len Wiseman and was produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski.[2] It is the fifth movie in the John Wick series and is a spin-off set between the 2019 movie John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and 2023 movie John Wick: Chapter 4.
The movie follows a ballerina and assassin named Eve Macarro as she tries to get revenge for the death of her father by hunting down and killing his murderer while also discovering her past.[3]
Principal photography for the movie started in Prague, Czech Republic on November 7, 2022 and ended in 2023.[4][5] There was some controversy when it was reported that producer Chad Stahelski decided to reshoot most of the movie when director Len Wiseman wasn't on set.[6]
