Gérard Mulumba Kalemba

Gérard Mulumba Kalemba (8 July 1937 – 15 April 2020) was a Congolese bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. He was born in Kananga. He became a priest in 1967. He served as bishop of Mweka from 1989 until his retirement in 2017.[1] His brother, Étienne Tshisekedi, and nephew, Félix Tshisekedi, both served as president of their country.[2]

On 15 April 2020, during the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, Mulumba Kalemba died of COVID-19 in Kinshasa. He was 82.[2]
