Garnierite
Appearance
Garnierite is a name for an ore of nickel. It has a bright green color. Alongside pentlandite, it is one of the main sources of nickel metal.[1]
Garnierite is not a single mineral, but a mixture of different nickel phyllosilicates.[2] Garnierite can include minerals from the serpentine, smectite, and talc groups.[3]
