Gary F. Jones

Gary F. Jones (June 16, 1944 – October 11, 2020) was an American trainer of Thoroughbred racehorses. His career began in 1974 and ended with his retirement at the end of July, 1996. He won 1,465 races including 102 graded stakes.[1][2] Jones was elected to the United States Racing Hall of Fame in 2014.[3] He was born in Long Beach, California.

Jones died on October 11, 2020 in Del Mar, California at the age of 76.[4]
